Showing up takes all of us
HEAT has earned trust on the street and inside institutions. But trust alone isn’t enough. Women are asking for more hours at the drop-in space. Institutions are seeking deeper collaboration. Exploitation doesn’t follow a schedule, and neither does crisis. Women need a response that is steady and accessible whenever they are ready.
To expand this steady response, we need sustained funding, donated essentials, and community voices willing to strengthen the public response.
